Family Activities
When you’re planning on spending time together as a family, it can be very helpful to have a specific activity or two in mind--this will make it easier on you (as you won’t have to come up with something on the fly) and it gives you the opportunity to plan something that will appeal to all of your family members. By involving everyone in your family activity planning process, you can make sure you go places and do things everyone is happy with.
- Get Out! Try a new restaurant or museum.
- Stay In! Make dinner together; play board games.
- Beat the rut! Try different outings
- Visit the train depot; visit a radio station.
- Be active together! Toss a frisbee; play lawn games.
- Rent paddleboats, snowshoes, or cross-country skis.
- Ride a bike, play ball; go swimming; go to the park.
- Let your kids plan a family date on their own.
