Online social networking is a relatively new way to communicate, and it has been quickly adopted by young people as a primary means of communication. Because social networking is so widespread among kids, it’s important to at least understand the basics of how it’s used so you know what to keep tabs on. As they learn more about what it’s possible to accomplish with social networking, many parents even find themselves getting involved.
