Great Parents, Great Responsibility
As parents, we want our kids to grow up to be healthy and successful adults. We want them to make responsible choices for themselves and to consider the consequences of their choices on other people. It’s our job to be good role models for decision-making, and we also have to be able to listen to our children when they are struggling with choices. We have to be able to give good advice, but we must also teach them to recognize bad advice—from their peers or from adults who don’t have their best interests at heart—and reject it. It’s a tough job!
In order to be good teachers, we need to know what we are talking about, know our own values and beliefs about alcohol—and most of all, need to make sure our own actions match what we say we believe.
Miller Coors is proud to partner with ParentFurther because we’re all responsible parents who want our children to make responsible choices. We care very much about how people use our products, and we believe that with great beer comes great responsibility. We hope that great parents everywhere will find great lessons in responsibility here.
